First Night Activities
Saranac Lake's First Night will be unveiling festive banners at the new Saranac Lake Chamber of Commerce office to promote the performances and events of First Night. Four will be presented throughout the month of December, two on December 8th and two on December 17th, and two will be presented at the Harrietstown Town Hall during First Night opening ceremonies. The Decorator Shop has fabricated the banners, and Ace Hardware has donated the paints used to decorate them. Several organizations have donated their time and talents to create designs on the banners, celebrating the New Year. These organizations include the Art Department of North Country Community College, the Saranac Lake Rotary Club, the Women's Civic Chamber, Will Rogers Saranac Village, St. Joseph's Rehabilitation Center, and Franklin County ARC. The banner project was coordinated by local artist Georgeanne Gaffney, with assitance from Terry Lewis and Margaret Airey.
Bluseed Studios
There will be an Art Opening of Saranac Lake High School art students at Bluseed Studios at 5:30pm on December 28th. Celebrate the arts with Saranac Lake high school students and their creative works
Riverside Park
Open to kids and adults. Bring accessories for your snow person. Prizes to be awarded.

Open to kids and adults. Wear you mask at our opening ceremony at 5:30 in Riverside Park.
