Welcome to First Night® Saranac Lake

These two small Adirondack Chairs, hand painted by Maria DeAngelo, and donated by Mountain Gift & Powder, will be raffled to benefit First Night Saranac Lake. Tickets are $1 each or 6 six for $5, and may be purchased at various Saranac Lake businesses. Drawing will take place at Sparkle Village craft fair on Saturday, December 6th in Saranac Lake.

First Night® celebrations are held in cities across the country. Previously, the closest one was in Burlington, Vt. Board chair Sue Patterson said a First Night celebration is a great match to the community of Saranac Lake, New York. First Night® Saranac Lake is an affordable, family centered, alcohol-free event to celebrate the New Year.

First Night® Saranac Lake 2009 will have many performances to entertain all ages including a parade, jugglers, and a puppet show. Check back for 2009 updates.
