First Night Saranac Lake rolls out this year's button design

First Night Saranac Lake will be celebrating its fifth New Year's Eve celebration as we say good bye to 2010 and welcome in the New Year. This years' button design is once again based on one of last year's banners. The button design this year was created by Carol Vossler and her design class at North Country Community College. "We are very excited about this year's design. It is colorful and fun and represents the music and culture of our community," said Sue Patterson, Co-Chair for First Night.

The all volunteer board works hard throughout the year to create a blend of music and performances that will appeal to a variety of people. Our mission is to bring the community together to celebrate the arts and welcome in the New Year.

"While we are not ready to reveal our lineup for this year, we have some great performers we're working with. As usual it will be a blend of the new and the familiar," said Connie Landon, Co-Chair for First Night.

We are always seeking new ideas, new volunteers and of course donations. While our web site is under construction in the off season, it is still great to visit if you want to get in touch with us.
